The Role
We’re looking for a full-time web developer and designer who can execute high-quality websites using our existing frameworks, while contributing to ongoing improvements in performance, scalability, and consistency.
This is a long-term contractor role, and you’ll be fully integrated into our team. You will focus primarily on development, implementation, and optimization, working within structured systems while helping improve them over time.
Responsibilities
- Build and launch WordPress websites using Elementor, Bricks, and internal templates
- Translate designs into responsive, high-performing websites
- Handle staging, deployment, and technical setup (Cloudways and related tools)
- Optimize site performance, speed, and responsiveness across devices
- Implement SEO best practices (schema, metadata, URL structure, image optimization)
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Follow and improve internal development processes and standards
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure clean, consistent execution
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with WordPress development
- Strong experience with Elementor and/or BricksBuilder
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Experience with hosting environments, DNS, caching, and performance tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working remotely and overlapping with U.S. Pacific Time
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Bonus Skills
Experience with Rank Math Pro, WP Rocket, ShortPixel, or Object Cache Pro
Familiarity with local business SEO and Google Business Profiles
Graphic/UI design ability (Adobe XD, Canva, or Figma)
Prior agency or client-facing experience
Compensation & Structure
This is a long-term independent contractor position. You’ll invoice monthly and operate as an integrated member of our team.
Estimated annual pay range: $18,000–$45,000 USD, depending on experience, technical capability, and geographic location.
Compensation is aligned with local market rates and adjusted based on demonstrated ability, output consistency, and scope of responsibility.
There is an opportunity for increased compensation over time as performance improves and responsibilities expand.
